IBM today announced that IBM Records Manager v8.5 received U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) 5015.02-STD v3 April 2007 certification. Certification is required for all records management solutions implemented by the DoD, other federal agencies and by many commercial organizations including the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). To earn certification, IBM Records Manager demonstrated that it can meet a multitude of mandatory requirements in both classified and unclassified environments.
