SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 11, 2019, /PRNewswire/ -- Join IBM (NYSE: IBM) as we advance one of the great boundaries in AI: mastering language. Based on pioneering research in natural language processing and deep learning, IBM Project Debater is the first AI system that can debate humans on complex topics and will take on its grandest challenge yet.

On Monday Project Debater will face a champion debater in front of a live audience in San Francisco. In this first-ever public debate, neither the AI nor its opponent will train on the topic of the debate in advance, leaving the audience to decide which debater was most persuasive.
