I am pleased to announce that Anne Robinson will be joining us as IBM's new Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, effective July 1, 2024.

Anne’s extensive experience across law, business, public policy, and regulatory affairs makes her an ideal leader to guide our legal team. Anne comes to IBM with a wealth of insight into governance matters for major corporations. She joins us from Vanguard where she currently serves as Managing Director and General Counsel. Her career path has included prominent roles at Citigroup, American Express and Deloitte, which expresses her caliber as a legal mind, business partner and strategic leader. She is also an active board member of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA), Children’s Rights, and the Ira M. Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership at Columbia Law School.

I want to thank Michelle Browdy, our outgoing Senior Vice President, Legal and Regulatory Affairs and General Counsel, for her incredible dedication to IBM and unwavering commitment to excellence. Michelle has had a remarkable tenure, leading our legal, security, corporate governance, and compliance activities. She has also played a key role in shaping our approach to environmental and governmental affairs. Michelle has been a key advisor to the rest of the business on issues including M&A, board governance, compliance, and cybersecurity. I am particularly grateful for her leadership contributions to IBM but also the broader legal community. Michelle will stay at IBM as a senior advisor and will work hand in hand with Anne to ensure a smooth transition.

I ask all of you to join me in thanking Michelle for her contributions to IBM and extend Anne a warm welcome as she begins her new role.
