Kelly C. Chambliss

Senior Vice President, Americas and Strategic Sales, IBM Global Business Services

Kelly Chambliss is Senior Vice President, Americas and Strategic Sales, IBM Global Business Services (GBS). In this role, she leads one of the largest professional services organizations in the world, providing enterprise clients across North America and Latin America with consulting, systems integration, digital agency, business process outsourcing, and application management services across all industries. She also leads the GBS Strategic Sales operation globally that develops innovative client strategies and solutions to enable long-term growth and value realization, with a focus on harnessing the power of open hybrid cloud and AI.

Prior to her current role, Kelly was Managing Partner of GBS North America and previously served as the Chief Technology Officer for IBM GBS. She also previously led the Distribution Market, Application Innovation Services, and the Retail Industry within GBS North America.

Kelly joined IBM through the acquisition of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Consulting, where she was a Partner. Her experience at PwC included leading technology-enabled programs across Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America.

Kelly serves as an Independent Director on the CoreSite Realty Corporation (NYSE: COR) Board of Directors, leads the Governance Committee, and is a member of the Compensation Committee. CoreSite is a Real Estate Investment Trust and leading provider of high-performance data center and interconnection solutions. She also serves on the advisory board for Amicus.io, a fintech start-up that enables charitable giving at scale across all income groups.

She graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Management Science and a specialization in Decision Support Systems. She attended Virginia Tech on a full athletic scholarship and served as the co-captain of the NCAA Division I volleyball team her senior year. During her time at Virginia Tech, she served as a Big Brothers, Big Sisters mentor and later taught financial literacy at a San Francisco Public School. She also served as a volunteer assistant coach for the University of California at Davis volleyball team for two years.

Kelly’s leadership has been recognized by Business Insider, Fortune, and Consulting Magazine.

She currently resides in Chicago, Illinois with her husband, a middle-grade math teacher, and two children. She is a member of the Commercial Club of Chicago and the Economic Club of Chicago and is a marathon runner.
