Senior Vice President, Americas Consulting
Neil Dhar is Senior Vice President of the Americas for IBM Consulting. In this role, he leads IBM’s consulting business across the United States, Canada, and Latin America—driving growth, expanding strategic client relationships, and delivering impact at scale across the firm’s most dynamic and diverse markets. He is responsible for aligning market execution with global strategy, accelerating industry-led transformation, and unlocking the full value of IBM’s AI, hybrid cloud and quantum capabilities for clients across sectors. Previous to this role, he served as the global growth and offerings leader.
Neil joined IBM in 2024, bringing decades of leadership experience and a strong track record of driving transformation and market expansion. Prior to IBM, he spent three decades at PwC, where he held several senior leadership roles, including Vice Chairman & Co-CEO of Consulting, Vice Chairman & Chief Client Officer, Head of Financial Services, and Head of M&A – Capital Markets. As a member of PwC’s Executive Management Committee, he played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s rapid growth and advising C-suite executives across financial services, private equity, and product industries.
A recognized thought leader, Neil is a frequent contributor to CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business News, and The Wall Street Journal, where he shares insights on market trends, business transformation, and economic shifts. He is also a sought-after speaker at global financial conferences and has authored numerous articles on value creation and innovation.
Neil holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in business from Villanova University. He has further refined his leadership and strategic expertise through executive education programs at Harvard Business School and INSEAD.
Beyond his professional achievements, Neil is committed to community impact. He serves on the Board of Directors for New York Cares and was honored as a David Rockefeller Fellow through the Partnership for New York City. A global executive with experience in London, Chicago, and New York, Neil currently resides in the New York area with his wife and son.
