Sebastian Krause is Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, IBM. He is responsible for leading IBM’s product and geography sales organizations, digital sales, global industries and the technical sales community including the client engineering organization as well as client success management and sales enablement. Under Sebastian's leadership, the organization is on a mission to make IBM the most trusted technology partner of the 21st century, leading companies to succeed in their digital transformation with IBM's Hybrid Cloud and AI capabilities.
In his prior role, Sebastian served as General Manager of global IBM Technology Sales, where he led the worldwide technology sales organization and spearheaded the transformation of IBM’s technology go-to-market organization.

Sebastian is a non-executive director at Trūata, a data anonymization and privacy-enhancing technologies provider; he is also Chairman of the supervisory boards for IBM Germany, and IBM Central Holding.
Sebastian has held several leadership roles across IBM, including as General Manager, Cloud and Cognitive Software globally and General Manager, Cloud and Cognitive Software for EMEA. In those positions, he successfully led sales, technical sales, and the partner ecosystem organizations and successfully transformed IBM’s cloud business in Europe. Sebastian also sponsored a data responsibility initiative to provide customers with control and access to data in compliance with European Union regulations.

Sebastian started his career in 1991 as a student trainee at IBM. He earned a degree in Business Economics and Information Technology from the Technische Fachhochschule in Berlin and he also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Henley Management College in London.
