The future of the Agentic Enterprise will be powered by integrated data. That’s why IBM’s collaboration with Salesforce is more powerful than ever, working together to make that future a reality for our customers.

At Dreamforce 2025, we’re showcasing how we’re unlocking new insights for Salesforce’s Agentforce, fueled by real-time IBM Z mainframe data leveraging Salesforce Zero Copy architecture. By simplifying the process of bringing data into Salesforce Data 360 through Zero Copy, we enable customers to uncover new use cases to fuel business applications, analytics insights surfaced in Tableau Next, and agentic experiences with the new Agentforce IT Service.

Honda Canada is exploring the powerful new mainframe integration to modernize the Honda Dealer Portal for its sales organization. With the automaker’s dealer information kept on IBM Z, they need a way to provide instant access to structured data so it can be used by Salesforce to enable faster decision-making.

Real-World Solutions for Insurance and Financial Services Industry Customers

New IBM Consulting capabilities are available today for Tableau Next users that leverage Zero Copy integration. During the event we’re demoing our insurance underwriting solution for Accelerating Underwriting Decisions.

Designed to transform traditionally time-intensive underwriting with speed and precision, it can provide real-time access to policy, claims, and risk data on the mainframe — eliminating extraction and replication bottlenecks and accelerating insight. This is just one industry example of how IBM Consulting is leveraging Tableau Next to bring more insights directly into the industry use cases.

IBM and Salesforce Reimagine Agentic IT Service Management (ITSM)

ITSM is a growing area where AI has one of the highest track records of showing direct value. According to the State of Salesforce 2025-2026 study, 61% of organizations are increasing their investment in IT platform and service management.

With the launch of Salesforce’s Agentforce IT Service, an agent-first, conversational-first and workflow-driven product suite, Salesforce is providing its customers with a scalable offering that improves productivity and experience for employees and IT teams. Salesforce has entrusted IBM Consulting as one of their implementation and migration partners for Agentforce IT Service.

New Agentforce IT Service Consulting capabilities for Salesforce provide accelerators for assessment, implementation, and integration across Agentforce Service Cloud, Slack, Data 360, Agentforce and the Salesforce platform. The result is an IT services model, enabled by IBM Consulting, where IT Service agents assist to triage, swarm, resolve and learn while supported by governance and compliance capabilities at enterprise scale.

Salesforce is delivering pre-built integrations for Agentforce IT Service and IBM Maximo Real Estate and Facilities. Now immediately available, third-party connectors make it is simple to set up and get started using IBM’s AI-enabled asset lifecycle management platform.

IBM Consulting Brings AI-Powered Delivery to Accelerate Salesforce Transformations

While 97% of Salesforce customers collect diverse data, only 24% are leveraging it to transform customer experiences, according to a previous State of Salesforce study. That’s why many organizations turn to IBM Consulting to help with their most complex implementations.
