After a remarkable career spanning more than two decades at IBM, Kelly Chambliss has decided to retire. Kelly has been an outstanding leader, significantly shaping the success of IBM Consulting across the Americas and beyond. Her contributions—from driving operations efficiency in her role as Consulting COO to innovation in our offerings, and mentoring the next generation of IBM leaders—have had a lasting impact on our business. Kelly has also been exceptional at building strong client and partner relationships, demonstrating deep industry expertise and consistently earning the trust of our clients.
Neil Dhar will assume leadership of IBM Consulting in the Americas, effective today. Many of you already know Neil from his role as Global Managing Partner for IBM Consulting, where he is helping clients navigate complex transformations with AI and hybrid cloud. Neil brings extensive experience and a proven track record of driving growth and innovation across consulting services. His deep understanding of the consulting landscape, overall market dynamics and commitment to client success positions him well to drive our Consulting business forward.
Kelly will be with us through October to ensure a thorough transition of the business as well as her client relationships. During that time, she will be a senior advisor to Mohamad Ali. Meanwhile, Neil’s current reports will transition to Mohamad.
Please join me in thanking Kelly for her leadership and congratulating Neil on his new role.
